Opportunities to be involved in Service, Peacemaking and Witness
There are numerous opportunities to be involved in service, peacemaking and witness with other KRMCers through the following ministries. Some of these ministries are sponsored by the congregation, others are conducted in cooperation with other congregations with much involvement and leadership from KRMCers: Ten Thousand Villages, Mishawaka The Learning Center The Center for Peace and Nonviolence Jeremiah House Vesper Chorale Hospitality House Global Connections There are numerous additional opportunities to join KRMCers in mission activities including Books Abroad and at Home, Habitat for Humanity annual “Matthew 25 Church House” Build, Hope Rescue Mission, Mennonite Disaster Service, Kern Road Quilters, Mennonite Central Committee Relief Sale, and Mennonite Disabilities Committee. The mission activities of the congregation are coordinated through the Evangelism Committee, the Service Committee and the Peace and Justice Committee. These three committees together form the KRMC Mission Group. |
