Hope Ministries logo

Hope Ministries is an organization that works at creating a community in which hurting people find healing by meeting people’s basic needs like food, shelter and basic health care. Hope Ministries provides these basic needs for a period of time to give people a chance to heal, transform and thrive. Learn more about volunteering at Hope Ministries at its website. Local youth groups will compete against each other with the “cansculptures” built out of canned food items that will then be donated to Hope Ministries. Ten Thousand Villages store in Granger is a not-for-profit fair trade retailer and a ministry of Kern Road Mennonite Church. Our program will run every day from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. during the Week of Generosity, except on Sunday, Oct. 11. Choose a day and come to learn more about how fair trade provides under- and unemployed artisans with an opportunity to earn vital income and improve their quality of life by establishing a sustainable market for their handcrafted products.
